Discover the best of the Golden Triangle of India on a 4-day tour from Delhi. Visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Day 1: Delhi to Agra After pickup from your hotel in Delhi, drive to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. After arriving in Agra, check into your hotel. Later, visit the Taj Mahal, commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After visiting the Taj Mahal, explore the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Agra for an overnight stay. Day 2: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Jaipur. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid Mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas Hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site. Later, proceed to Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Day 3: Jaipur Sightseeing After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. Amber Fort is well-known for its artistic style of Hindu elements and has cobbled paths, a series of gates, and large ramparts. Later, proceed to visit City Palace. The apartment houses museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons, and paintings. A complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings, the impressive City Palace is right in the center of the Old City. Continue visiting Hawa Mahal, this monument is popularly known as the “Palace of Winds,” which is considered as one of the most highly praised landmarks in Jaipur. In the end, visit the World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that dates to the 1700s. Day 4: Jaipur to Delhi After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi airport or your hotel in Delhi or other desired location in New Delhi/Gurugram.Includes
