Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Udaipur or the railway station. Our comprehensive sightseeing tour includes the following highlights: Lake Pichola: This picturesque lake was commissioned by Maharana Udai Singh II, the city's founder. It is adorned with hills, palaces, temples, bathing ghats, and embankments that create a truly enchanting setting. City Palace Udaipur: Explore the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, a majestic architectural wonder that stands proudly on a hill overlooking the lake. The City Palace is a blend of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, balconies, corridors, and rooms. The main entrance is through the triple-arched gate, known as the 'Tripolia,' featuring eight marble porticos. Crystal Gallery Udaipur: Adjacent to Fateh Prakash Palace, this gallery houses the whimsical side of Udaipur's royalty. Marvel at the splendid crystal collection of Raja Sajjan Singh, who ordered a lavish assortment of crystal items from abroad in 1877. While the collection was intended for him, it was put into storage after his demise and later displayed for tourism. Nearby, you can explore the Gallery of Vintage and Classic Cars, which includes a 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II among its treasures. Saheliyon Ki Bari: Discover this charming ornamental garden, a favored relaxation spot for royal ladies who came here for leisurely strolls, hence the name. The garden features numerous fountains in its four delightful pools, chiseled kiosks, and marble elephants. Monsoon Palace, Sajjangarh: Also known as the Monsoon Palace, this architectural gem was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in the late 19th century. Illuminated at night, it presents a fairytale-like view from a distance and offers a panoramic overview of the city's lakes, palaces, and the surrounding countryside. Optional: Jagdish Temple: If time allows, visit the nearby Hindu temple, a splendid example of Indo-Aryan architecture dedicated to Lord Vishnu, adorned with intricate sculptures. Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Rajasthani or Indian meal at a local restaurant in the vicinity of the City Palace or Lake Pichola. In the evening, you have the option to embark on a boat ride in either Pichola or Fateh Sagar Lake. Finally, we'll drop you off at your hotel in Udaipur, concluding this unforgettable day of exploration and cultural immersion.
