Description

Embark on a full-day guided tour to Jaipur, the royal capital of Rajasthan, from New Delhi by car or train. Begin with a convenient pickup from your hotel, airport, or preferred location and travel comfortably to Jaipur. (If you choose the train option, pickup will be around 5:00 AM, and you’ll arrive in Jaipur by 10:00 AM.) Start your sightseeing at the impressive Jaigarh Fort, home to the world’s largest cannon on wheels. Your licensed guide will share fascinating stories at every stop and help you take great photos. Continue to the City Palace, where you’ll explore royal courtyards and museum galleries that showcase the legacy of the Rajput rulers. Then admire the Jal Mahal, the Water Palace, which sits beautifully in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Take a break for lunch and enjoy the flavors of Jaipur’s local cuisine. Your guide will recommend great restaurants where you can enjoy an authentic and delicious meal, with vegetarian and special diet options available. Drive past the iconic Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, famous for its stunning facade and intricate latticework. You’ll also visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring giant instruments used for astronomy in the 18th century. After the tour, enjoy a relaxing return journey to Delhi. (If you chose the train option, your Jaipur driver will drop you at the station by 6:00 PM. Another driver will meet you at Delhi Station around 11:00 PM and drop you off at your hotel.)
