Description

Morning – Amber Fort Exploration Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, located just outside Jaipur. Travel up to the fort by jeep or enjoy an optional elephant ride. Inside, explore its grand courtyards, the glittering Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and richly decorated halls that reflect Rajasthan’s royal heritage. The fort’s hilltop location offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Hawa Mahal – The Palace of Winds Continue to the iconic Hawa Mahal, known for its distinctive façade with 953 small windows, built so royal ladies could watch the street life without being seen. Take time to admire and photograph this architectural gem. City Palace – Royal Grandeur Proceed to the City Palace, still partly a royal residence and home to a museum displaying royal costumes, weapons, and artifacts. Don’t miss the elegant Chandra Mahal and Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), which offer rich insights into Jaipur’s royal past. Jantar Mantar – Ancient Astronomy Next, visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest astronomical observatories. Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, it features massive instruments used to study stars, measure time, and predict eclipses. Lunch Break – Rajasthani Flavors Enjoy lunch (at your own expense) at a local restaurant. Try traditional dishes like dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, or laal maas, or choose from other Indian and international options. Afternoon – Albert Hall Museum & Local Culture Visit the Albert Hall Museum, showcasing Rajasthani art, pottery, jewelry, and ancient sculptures. Its Indo-Saracenic architecture makes it a cultural highlight of Jaipur. Evening – Bazaar Shopping End the day exploring Jaipur’s lively bazaars, famous for colorful textiles, gemstones, handicrafts, and traditional jewelry. Pick up unique souvenirs before your return journey. You will then be comfortably dropped back at your hotel, the airport, or your chosen location.
