Description

Explore the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve, the fourth tiger reserve in Rajasthan and the 52nd in India. Covering 1,501.89 sq. km., it spans the districts of Bundi, Kota, and Bhilwara. The terrain is rugged and hilly, with the Mez River, a tributary of the Chambal River, flowing through it. Discover the reserve’s rich biodiversity, home to Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Jungle Cats, and more. Spot over 150 bird species, including the Indian Peafowl, Painted Stork, and Egyptian Vulture. The forest is dense, with predominant species like Dhok, Khair, and Amaltas. Choose from three safari routes, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife sightings. Route 1 takes you from Shikar Burj to Suraj Chattri View Point, Route 2 from Tiger Hills to Miraji Garden, and Route 3 from Bhimlat Waterfall to Abhaypura Dam. Enjoy boating on Jaitsagar Lake, located in the buffer area, and visit the Bhimlat Waterfall. The Mez River is a major feature of Core I of the Tiger Reserve.
