Namaste! Welcome to our desert family homestay. We're thrilled about your interest in our experience, eager to create lasting memories with you.
Your journey unfolds with a 2:30-3:00 pm pick-up in Jodhpur. Picture this: our private car, waiting at your chosen location, be it your hotel, airport, train station, or bus station. Our first stop is Osian, a place of spiritual richness housing the Sachiya Mata Temple—one of the many jewels in our culturally vibrant region.
Beyond the temple's magnificence, our path leads to a sacred space—our ancestral home in a 500-year-old rural village on the fringes of the Thar Desert. Expect a warm embrace of traditional Rajasthani hospitality as you step into our family abode. The luxury of time awaits; take a leisurely stroll, drink tea in the surroundings, and witness the sunset descent from a viewpoint nearby. As dusk settles, partake in the preparation of a traditional Rajasthani meal. The open wood fire invites you to join the culinary festivities, sharing moments and flavors with our family. As night unfolds, choose between the comfort of our traditional mud huts or the allure of sleeping beneath a star-lit desert sky.
Awaken to the enchanting dawn of the Thar desert. Engage in a 40-70 minute sunrise camel ride, a journey through the wilderness that unveils the desert's beauty bathed in the soft morning light with a chance to see wildlife such as birds, deer, gazelles, desert gray foxes, and desert wildcats. Post-adventure, a hearty breakfast awaits before we embark on a private car journey back to Jodhpur, targeting an arrival around 11-11:30 am.
