Description
This experience will introduce you to the art of Indian cooking whilst allowing you to immerse yourself in an authentic Indian home. This is our home where we live and carry out our day to day lives.
We’ll welcome you at our home and serve you one of our traditional Indian drinks (chai, lassi, lemon soda, juice etc). You’ll be introduced to an Indian kitchen and briefed on all the different types of Indian cuisine. We’ll focus in more detail on the North Indian cuisine which includes dishes like chapati, paratha (Indian breads), seasonal vegetable curries (garlic bhindi, aloo gobhi, dal, pumpkin curry, carrot curry, paneer masala, tinda curry, egg plant masala, baigan bharta, gutaa curry). We will start with a demonstration before giving you a chance to make round chapatis (Indian bread) and one vegetable curry yourself. We’ll have an Indian dessert prepared beforehand to serve with our meal
Experience the timeless beauty of traditional henna art in Jaipur with the skillful touch of local artists. After your engaging home cooking class, relax and learn about the cultural significance of mehndi in Indian celebrations. Watch as intricate designs come to life on your hands, created with natural henna by a local artisan. This authentic experience not only lets you savor the flavors of Rajasthani cuisine but also connects you with its rich traditions, leaving you with beautiful memories and a delicate, temporary work of art to cherish.
