Description
Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Jaipur, and then hop into a tuk-tuk to explore the city like a true local. Before starting the day, enjoy a hot masala chai along the way, just like Jaipuris do every morning. Our first stop offers a panoramic view of the imposing Amber Fort, which rises majestically above the hills. From there, we'll venture into a picturesque street bustling with life, almost like a small village, to visit the beautiful Panna Meena Ka Kund stepwell, followed by the Shiromani Temple, dedicated to the god Krishna, where an atmosphere of devotion and peace prevails.
Climbing up ancient stone steps surrounded by greenery, we will walk to the main entrance of Amber Fort, a jewel of Rajput architecture. After exploring the surrounding area, we will return to the tuk-tuk and head for the Jal Mahal, the Water Palace, where we will make a photo stop in front of this palace, which appears to float on Lake Man Sagar.
Next, we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to the tranquil and little-visited Gaitor Royal Cenotaphs, a peaceful place steeped in history where the former maharajas rest.
Once in the heart of the Pink City, we will admire the iconic façade of the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds, followed by a visit to the fascinating Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, a World Heritage Site.
To end the day with a taste of the local culture, we'll head to MI Road to enjoy a refreshing lassi at the famous Lassi Walla, a must-visit spot in Jaipur. Finally, we will enjoy a comfortable return trip to your hotel after a day filled with history, culture, flavors, and unforgettable sights.
