Description
your driver will pick up you in the morning from Udaipur Airport, the Udaipur Junction Railway Station, the bus station, or your conveniently located hotel in Udaipur. The biggest palace complex in Rajasthan is Udaipur City Palace. This palace was started in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh and finished in the 18th century by his successors.You will visit the Shree Jagdish Temple, a well-known temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, after this palace tour. Maharana Jagat Singhji constructed this three-story, 79-foot-tall temple in 1651 at a cost of 1.5 million rupees. The Udaipur royal family owns and operates it.
Your next stop is Dudh Talai, located on the banks of Lake Pichola near the city palace. Here you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Lake Pichola, Jag mandir and Udaipur old city. You can choose to either walk around the lake to see various species of birds, relax in the lush green garden, or enjoy the musical fountains in the park. You can also stop by Saheliyon Ki Bari, Moti Magari and the Sukhadiya Circle. When the tour concludes, you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choosing for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh Fort - Ranakpur Temple
You will depart for a day's tour of Ranakpur Jain and Kumbhalgarh Fort after breakfast. Depending on traffic, the drive to Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, takes roughly two hours. Here, you can take in the captivating views while learning about the fort's history. Often known as 'the great wall of India,' it boasts the second-largest wall globally. Visit the Jain Temple in Ranakpur after that. The temple is thought to have been constructed in the fifteenth century under the supervision of Jainist Seth Dharna Shah. With the assistance of Mewar king Rana Kumbha, who demanded that the temple bear his name, he built the temple. The idol of Adinath is located in the main chamber, which is accessible through four entrances. The temple also has five pillars, each of which supports an idol of a different Tirthankara. An idol of Adinath is supported by the largest pillar in the middle. You will return to Udaipur after touring the temple, where you will be dropped off at the destination of your choice.
