Itinerary :
Day 1 : Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer
Upon arrival representative will pick you up in the morning at 5:00 am from your desired location in Jodhpur to proceed for Jaisalmer by Car. The 280 km drive takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. As you sit in the car, can you feel the excitement that will grip your mind and heart as you start this wonderful tour with your drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer.
Enjoy a tour of Jaisalmer city which was built by King Rawal Jaisal. Visit the Golden Fort, popularly known as the Golden Fort of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer Fort is set on Trikuta Hills. Its yellowish sandstone structure and golden sand dunes make it referred to as the Sonar Quila.
Visit “Jain Temple” Inside the Jaisalmer Fort lies Jain Temple which is a series of temples devoted to Jain Tirthankaras and can be traced back to the 12th century.
Enjoy a tour of Nathmal Ki Haveli. Privately owned 19th-century haveli known for ornate exterior carvings & unique architecture.
Visit – Patwon Ki Haveli, is a massive five-storied structure with decorative suites. Its large corridors and the decorated walls excellently represent the art form that prevailed.
Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan, is known for its royal heritage. Its bazaars and other attractions enrich its culture and give visitors a glimpse of local life. Explore the city on a heritage walk through the bazaar.
Visit “Gadisar Lake” The beautiful artificial lake of Gadisar was built by King Maharawal Gadsi during the 14th century. It is a rainwater lake which was earlier the main source of water during that period. There are many temples and cenotaphs around the banks of the lake. See a beautiful sunset over the lake while taking a boat ride.
Drive to Jodhpur : After exploring Jaisalmer, you will drive to Jodhpur. Drive will take time around 3 to 4 Hour Approx for 280 km.
