Day 1 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur Jain Temple - Kumbhalgarh Fort - Udaipur.
Guest will be picked up from Jodhpur at their preferred location. The journey begins towards Ranakpur, home to the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple, also known as Chaturmukha Dharana Vihara. This architectural marvel, dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabhanatha, was built in the 15th century by Darna Shah, a local Jain businessman, following a divine vision. The temple is renowned for its intricate marble architecture, with 1,444 uniquely carved pillars, exquisite domes, and beautifully adorned ceilings. The temple complex also includes various shrines such as the Chaumukha Temple, Surya Temple, Suparshvanatha Temple, and Amba Temple, making it one of the most significant Jain pilgrimage sites in India.
Stop 2
After exploring Ranakpur, continue towards Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a marvel of Rajput architecture. The fort is famed for its massive defensive walls, stretching over 38 km, making it the second-longest continuous wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century, Kumbhalgarh played a crucial role in Rajasthan’s history as an unbreakable bastion of the Mewar Kingdom. Strategically located in the Aravalli Hills, the fort has seven fortified gateways, magnificent palaces, numerous Hindu and Jain temples, and the Lakhola Tank, constructed by Rana Lakha.
After finishing this tour, guests will be dropped off at their preferred location in Udaipur.
