Description
Day 1: Jodhpur City Tour You will begin your trip with pickup from the airport, railway station, hotel, or other desired place in Jodhpur. From here your half-day city tour of Jodhpur will begin with a tour of the Mehrangarh Fort. You will have time to wander the lush gardens of Jaswant Thada, before venturing back in time with a stop at the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Day 2: Bishnoi Village Safari and Camel Safari Following breakfast, you will head out to visit the Bishnoi Villages, where you might be able to spot black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares, or partridges. During September and March, you can even witness thousands of migratory demoiselle cranes near the Guda Lake. On the way, you can also see the local lifestyles of craftsman, shepherds, and farmers. Following the tour, you will be dropped off at a hotel to relax for 2-3 hours, before you are once again picked up for a camel safari tour at 2:30PM. You will travel from your hotel by private car to Osian, where you have the chance to independently visit two famous temples, the Sachiya Mata Temple and the exquisite Jain Temple, which features a vast amount of intricately carved marble. After taking in the temples, you will head to the starting point for your camel safari. The camel ride is considered a peak experience in Rajasthan, and you can expect to spend about one to two hours riding the camel in the Thar Desert. Afterwards, stay to watch the skies and sands change color during the sunset hour, before returning to your private vehicle for transfer back to Jodhpur.Includes
