Description

Day 1: Delhi Arrive in Delhi and check-in at your hotel. Start your day with a visit to the Red Fort, a Unesco World Heritage Site that served as the residence of Mughal emperors for over 200 years. Proceed to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. After lunch, visit Humayun's Tomb, another Unesco World Heritage Site and the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. In the evening, explore the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk and sample some delicious street food. Day 2: Agra Start your day early and head to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a Unesco World Heritage Site. After lunch, visit Agra Fort, another Unesco World Heritage Site and the former residence of the Mughal Emperors. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some of the famous Agra sweets. Day 3: Jaipur After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. Visit the Amber Fort, an impressive fortress built in the 16th century. Stop at Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Visit the City Palace, a magnificent palace complex that houses the famous Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. In the evening, explore the local markets and try some of the famous Rajasthani cuisine. Day 4: Delhi After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world and a Unesco World Heritage Site. Stop at India Gate, a war memorial located in the heart of Delhi. Visit the Lotus Temple, a Bahá'í House of Worship known for its unique lotus-shaped design. In the evening, explore the local markets and shop for some souvenirs. Depart for your onward journey.
